For every $900 raised, CASA for Children of Klamath County is able to provide full advocacy for a foster child for one year.
How will my sponsorship help a child? Very simply, donations allow for the recruitment, training and constant management of CASA volunteers who advocate for the most vulnerable children in Klamath County.
Our volunteers will be assigned to the most complicated cases of child abuse and neglect – serving a critical role in ensuring that no child slips through the cracks of an overburdened system. Our volunteers serve as the eyes and ears of the court, affording judges, who will ultimately decide the permanent placement for a child, the opportunity to make those decisions based on all of the information.
Maybe, most importantly, our volunteers will be a constant caring adult in a child’s life until the child is returned home or adopted into a safe and permanent home with a loving family. By dontaing $900, or by pledging $75 a month, you can provide an advocate to one foster child in Klamath County.
